yerba mate

Yerba Matè(Ilex paraguariensis)

Yerba Mate is excellent for stopping headaches, migraines and helping with the pain of neuralgia.   The tea, in South America, is considered to be the ideal stimulant and coffee substitute for those who can no longer use coffee.  This herb allows you to keep the habit and kick the nervousness.

It closely matches in color and flavor to regular coffee and it is refreshing due to it's ability to relieve tiredness and to stimulate one mentally and physically.

The stimulating part of this plant is it's caffeine content although not as high as regular coffee and functioning as a blood purifier.  Yerba Mate is a South American Holly type tree.
