Agave (Agave americana)

  The American century plant, or spiked Aloe, is useful for stomach complaints and many more serious diseases as well as used as a scalp treatment for Dandruff and falling hair.

The sap of the Agave plant is often taken to halt the growth of putrefactive bacteria in the stomach and intestines.  It has also been recommended for Jaundice, Tuberculosis and healing the liver of disease.

Usual Method of Prep Usual Dosage
Wash:
Soak plant fiber in water for a day.
Use:
Water as a wash for the scalp to treat dandruff and/or falling hair.
Decoction:
Boil 1 tbsp plant in
1 pint water
Take:
1 cup tea in Mouthful dosages throughout the day.
Powder:
Purchase.
Take:
1/2 tsp 3 times a day.
